Painting with watercolours at the Palazzo Fantini

Painting is a beautiful experience and gives oneself vitality and joy of living. It is relaxing and at the same time it recharges oneself, making you look at things with a different eye. Above all, to attempt to paint with brush and colour is not only privileged to artists and children. Anyone can do it.

So why not give it a try?

Whatever will be the duration or outcome of your pictorial adventure, it is completely up to you. It will certainly be formative and will reveal oneself a source of vital energy. But what is most important is that while painting we forget everything around us in favour of a special light, a certain proportion, a combination of colours, and our eyes will make the experience of beauty, a key passage of every human destiny.

The class is open for anybody’s wishes to experiment and to acquire profound knowledge of this discipline through the use of watercolour which is a means of expression to better get to know oneself. The participants will meet in small groups of 6 to 8 people. After a brief introduction of the materials, the basic elements of the technique will be taught, along with specific exercises to stimulate and liberate the creative potential of everyone. The exceptional position of Palazzo Fantini and the possibility to paint in its wonderful garden will give students an unforgettable artistic experience allowing them to draw constant inspiration from themes of Nature.

This class is conducted by Michele Costantini, illustrator and painter. After his study in the arts he was trained by the Master Kenji Sumura. For the last 10 years he has dedicated himself to painting, becoming more and more involved in the spiritual aspect in art that he brings to all his classes and seminars.
